Install of D04R1000 -4 2 man crew. Diagnose existing counter balance weight system failure to make recommendations for

repairs. Match appropriate products for replacement. Shut off air supply and bleed lines /

cylinders of residual pressure. Secure door down and clamp in position. Remove counter

balance weight exterior tube to expose weight stack / strap. Backwind counter weight

hub to allow for slack on the door cables. Remove cables from cable drums to release

shaft. Safely lower weight stack to the ground utilizing winding hub. Secure weight on

ground and remove strap by cutting. Dismantle and remove counter weight mounting

hardware / hubs from door shaft. Clean and ensure shaft is ready to accept new

hardware. Dismantle and break down weight stack and rod components. Assemble new

rod components and stack existing weights in position as required. Assemble and

connect new strap to weight stack rod pulley system. Supply and install new weight

system shaft components and hubs. Connect strap to shaft winding hub and check

specifications / adjust strap positioning as required. Load weight onto shaft and raise to

desired positioning using winding hubs. Secure cables back into cable drums and apply

weight back to door system. Install existing exterior weight concealment tube and

mounting brackets / fasten in position. Test operation of the door system several times

manually and ensure proper function of installed components and for safe operation of

the door system. Re-supply air to the system and test cycle door to ensure proper

function in automatic operation.
